Great points — thanks. I can’t speak from the perspective of an African American, but as a woman who was in an elite space (prestigious universities), even some of the supposedly good stuff can be stressful — for example, when women get assigned way more committee work because the university/department wants women on committees (a good thing) but they don’t have many women, so the ones they have are asked to do much more work than the men.
